These courses are not a substitute or supplement for the CNOR On-Demand Prep Course. CNOR Subject Area Spotlights are intended to be utilized by nurses desiring study materials for particular areas instead of a comprehensive review course.
 
The CNOR Subject Area Spotlight: Communication and Documentation course covers effective communication strategies and documentation of patient care interventions. This subject area comprises 11% of total test questions on the CNOR exam.
 
Objectives addressed in Communication and Documentation:
  • Choose effective communication strategies
  • Use communication tools to enhance multidisciplinary continuity of care
  • Document accurate patient care interventions

The course includes:
  • 50 minutes of recorded subject area review
  • 5 practice questions (from the CNOR Online Practice Exam) 
  • Upon successful completion, you will receive 5 points towards CNOR/CSSM/CNAMB recertification requirements
