CFPN
|
Nurses applying for the CFPN credential must have a current, unrestricted RN license in state or country of practice and have a certificate of completion from a perioperative nursing orientation program having both a didactic (classroom) and a clinical component. Applicants must be currently working full- or part-time in perioperative nursing, including nursing education, administration, research or clinical practice.
Nurses having 23 months or more of employment in perioperative nursing are ineligible to apply for the CFPN credential.
